You don't need reservations
No
They close at 10pm
Give them a phone call and ask. They have the space, but that would be a special event
Not sure. Call and ask them.
No except for Sunday at 1030.
Just in the bar area, not out in the big dinning areas.
Very nice people but not crazy about the food
Table was sticky. Our waitress Angelina, took our order, brought drinks, salad, and after quite a wait our food. After that she never came back to see if we needed anything else, or to refill drinks. We had to chase our bill down ( Hostess finally brought it). Food was not very good either. Italian dressing taste like vinegar, only, and the Seafood Scampi was way too spicy.
We went here as a large group of about 40 people. 2 servers met our needs and did a great job doing it. Split checks with no mistakes, and were prompt and sensitive to our needs. Food was great, came out hot and on time. I’ve never been disappointed here. It’s one of the great places to eat in Somerset.
Server mostly attentive, food good. Will come back.
I've eaten here several time and never had anything but an excellent meal. Friendly service as well. Always some tasty specials available. Everything always looks freshly prepared, nothing frozen or canned.
Passing through to NJ and ordered take-out due to COVID. WOW was I amazed at the perfect fries, perfect artichoke dip and amazing steak sammich. Bravo
Great stop off. Quick food, tasty menu. Oil was clean, not the old dirty stuff you sometimes get. We would go back next time we are passing through
I was excited about the many great reviews. Decided to get take out with my wife. Pros- The cheese sticks were nice and The ranch was nice. Cons- The free rolls were awful, i think they are the cheap ones out of a bag from the corner store just warmed up. Hence free perhaps, but for sure not made one site. They forgot the salads, they called and apologized about that so that was cool.Cons- The tortellinis were miniature, few and drowning in marinara sauce. Never saw this much sauce in one order before.Wife was nice enough to give me some of her penne pasta once I quickly finished my baby tortellinis. Maybe I wouldn't make a review about it if these baby tortellinis didn't cost 15 bucks. Also it's fifteen bucks for sausage tortellini, I didn't want the sausage but I still had to pay 15 bucks. Im sure they get it right often, but def got it wrong this time and they made money for it.
Great family owned restaurant! The home cooked meals are amazing. And the staff is fantastic!
Absolutely amazing! Service was fantastic, the asiago cheese sauce covere flat iron steak was superb! Everything was cooked perfectly! Highly recommended!!!
Delicious food and very friendly staff. Always happy to visit when I travel to Somerset Pennsylvania. 5 stars.
Good food, friendly staff, only restaurant i will come too anymore in somerset for a decent meal.
The fish was very good. There was too much batter for me. The portion was a bit too much, but it tasted very good. I asked for lightly toasted bread and it was perfect. I think we would go back if we were on the highway at the right time to stop for a meal.
Their perogies were sooo good. I also had the seafood Alfredo and was amazing.
Loved the new grain bowl and the skillet cookie is awesome too!
Very pleasant staff. Very attentive. We were just passing through and stopped for a quick bite - shared a bowl of chili. The chili had a good flavor but was very thin. Overall, worth dropping in.
Great food, good staff. AMAZING RANCH DRESSING! I would highly recommend it!
Love the Pine Grill, their food is always very good, a wide variety to choose from and great specials and soups and a really good bar selection.Staff are friendly and helpful. The owner walks around and greets most people by name and makes sure everyone is having a good experience. It's an "must" to stop there every time we are in Somerset.
Excellent food. Friendly servers. Nice atmosphere. Very reasonable prices. You won't be disappointed.
Recommended by hotel clerk. Got the ribeye steak, medium. Not the best but a decent cut. Taste was a bit salty. Had grilled mushrooms and onions on it. I asked for mashed potatoes as my side. They were not fluffy. Small salad came with it too. Large parking area in the back. Easy off turnpike and close to area hotels. Got a 10% off card from the clerk. Andrea was our server and was attentive.
Awesome food & atmosphere! Waitress was fantastic!
This is our only Somerset stop for food..great local food and service...we'll be back!
This is an awesome place to eat. Friendly service and fantastic food served in a timely manner. Locals love Pine Grill and those traveling the PA Turnpike are sure to find something on the menu that will satisfy any appetite! Highly recommended!
On a busy Saturday night, we were seated right away. It was busy and our server, Sarah, approached our table after sitting a while to acknowledge she would be with us in a few moments. She is a great server and made our experience enjoyable on a busy night for her. The manager, Mark, even came to our table to make sure we were being taken care of. The food was good and came out to us at the right time. The atmosphere is very charming, and home-like...very comfortable. I would highly recommend the Pine Grill Restaurant if you ever find your travels bringing you here.
Comfort Food is Here. Atmosphere was comfortable. Everyone should enjoy their menu and drink offerings. I would go back.
The place gave you a good vibe as soon as you walked in. Comfort food in good quantities served by a waitress that was genuinely friendly and attentive. My daughter and I loved it.
The staff is absolutely wonderful! Every single one had a smile and the food was delicious.Only complaint I have is the boss. He walked in quite a few times with no smile and and no hello. Owner needs to do better to welcome his clientele.
There were 4of us. The man paying for a horrible old dinner of turkey and stuffing a few days after Thanksgiving. He came from Pittsburgh to visit. Too bad for Pine Grill. He will not return. The other meals were delicious 👌
The front desk associate at the Comfort Inn suggested this place. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt even though they were in the process of closing. The dish I had was the Old Bay seafood scampi. It was a interesting idea, but way too salty and I prefer traditional garlic and butter scampi. That said, the pasta and seafood were cooked well and it was edible. I would go again if I was in the area.
Very nice and clean restaurant. Food is fresh service is quick and friendly. Nice menu options. Have daily specials. Bar with tvs!
We came to celebrate and honor my mom on her birthday. What a great choice she made in choosing this restaurant. We ordered their spinach dip to start. That was yummy! For our entrees we order eggplant parm, crab cakes and seafood alfredo. All the dishes were delicious!!
Generous portions of home cooked food. Polite and attentive servers in a pine wood ambiance. Place gets busy, but servers are smiling. Will look forward to coming back.
I visited on a Sunday night in April while staying in town on vacation and picked Pine Grill to eat at because of the professional website. My family member and I ordered the Black and Bleu Burger and loved it. The meat was blackened on the outside and cooked to order on and full of savory flavor on the inside. We didn't order any sides or appetizers because the burger with the bacon, bud, and toppings was plenty to satisfy our tummies even after our long day of walking around. The wait staff attended to our need for water refills with a friendly smile and pleasant demeanor. The dinning area was a pleasant, calming, and quiet space to enjoy a satisfying meal with my family. I would eat here again if I needed to a place to eat in Somerset.
Good food and nice atmosphere. Great place for lunch or dinner.
Excellent restaurant. Probably the best place to eat in Somerset. Have yet to have anything on the menu that isn't great. The service is polite and prompt. It's a touch toward the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. Good sized portions and great food. This place has quickly become a favorite for my wife and I. Lots of different options too and with their specials it helps mix up the menu. Highly recommended.
I was in Somerset for work and the hotel staff recommended the Pine Grill. It was a delightful experience. The drinks were well made. For dinner I had their tortellini with homemade sausage. This was an excellent choice. It was perfect done. The sausage had just enough spice. I would be remiss not to give a shout out to our waitress. She was charming with the right mix of friendliness and professionalism.
I had a very good salad. Sat at the bar. Nice selection of beer, both on tap and limited bottles. Easy to find, plenty of free parking. The dining room looked like a nice space.
Laura Marie Mildner...Stopped in for dinner. Very nice low key dining ...food was delicious!
Pleasantly surprised! We were driving through the area and the streets look pretty run down so we were not sure if we can trust the high ratings. Turned out the reviews were absolutely right. One of the best parts is the starter bread that's warm and soft and tasty. We have a large party and I got to taste a few different entrees, even the kid's steak was cooked just right. The pasta is a bit soft but both the Mariana and Alfredo sauces are excellent. The meatball was juicy. The best entree was the smoked pork chop, very flavorful and juicy. The decor is homey and comfy, service friendly and swift. Highly recommend.
This restaurant was fantastic. We were traveling back to Ohio from DC and stopped in. Got meatloaf and a steak sandwich. The rolls were great as well. The staff were very friendly. Great place for comfort food.
Oh this place was good!! Very polite and easy to talk to server. Great food! Decent prices! Fast service. Would definitely recommend!!
The daily specials have proven delicious time and time again. The service is great. The portion sizes are good, and the price is also good. I highly recommend this place. They have something for everyone!
Food is always great. Lamb chops amazing
Great food. Friendly staff.
Can't go wrong here. Great choices and great food.
Great local eatery! We were traveling thru and asked at the tollbooth where to go, we weren't disappointed. Huge, delicious homemade portions (especially kids menu) and great value. Lovely atmosphere and cozy. Friendly staff.
ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS BURGERS!!! Our waitress was spot on even with numerous tables. Burgers were real meat, not pre made frozen patties, seasoned just right. Bacon was crispy not chewy and with two pieces of cheese they were perfect. The buns were toasted and the combination of everything just made a fantastic burger. Well worth the trip and I'll do it again!
This is a step back into the past for a nice family style Diner. The inside could use a little bit of updating to clean it up but overall it is not bad. The staff is extremely friendly and very quick to get your order and bring your food as requested. The food and drinks were reasonably priced and you do get a good amount for your money. The area inside and outside is very clean and safe and overall I have no concerns about returning again. I recommend this place to others and certainly will visit myself in the future when in the area.
I've only been here once but our food was pretty good. And our server was so nice. It was a cozy little place to have dinner. I would go again and try something else on the menu. The calamari was delicious though!
Great food, reasonably priced, clean environment, I'll definitely be back!
